Charlene graduated from BCIT in 2004 and began her professional career in Vancouver working in real estate development, returning to Campbell River in 2008. Charlene successfully completed the UFE in 2013 and received her CA designation shortly thereafter. With a focus in taxation, trusts, and estate planning, Charlene works closely with our team to provide and implement tax planning opportunities for our corporate and individual clients.
Having been raised in Campbell River and the surrounding area, Charlene feels a strong commitment to our community. She has held the position of Secretary Treasurer for both the Campbell River Chamber of Commerce and the Campbell River Writer’s Festival Society, as well as sat as a Director of the Campbell River Noon Rotary Club, of which she is a member. Charlene is a strong advocate of the Campbell River KidStart program and has enjoyed her time as a mentor to young girls in our community.
In her personal time Charlene enjoys golf, squash, beach volleyball, snowboarding, snowshoeing and spending time with her dog, Bailey.
Born in Kitimat and raised in Campbell River, Kyle is a partner with Moeller Matthews Chartered Professional Accountants. Kyle completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Victoria majoring in Economics and knew early on that he wanted to be a Chartered Accountant. Kyle achieved his CA designation in 2007 following his successful completion of the UFE in 2006. Kyle’s focus is providing quality accounting and taxation services to small and owner managed businesses helping them succeed by developing positive relationships and understanding their needs in both the short and long term.
Committed to improving access to education for all, Kyle served as the secretary/treasurer for the North Island College Foundation for 6 years. His past volunteer activities have included being a facilitator for the Campbell River Elder College and Campbell River Junior Achievement Program.
When Kyle is not in the office he is busy raising two young, energetic daughters. In his spare time, you will find Kyle boating around Desolation Sound, playing slo-pitch, fishing for steelhead in the local rivers, brewing beer, or playing golf in and around the Campbell River area.
Kent was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and spent his early years moving across Canada before settling in Campbell River in 1976. He graduated from Robron in 1987 and subsequently attained degrees from U.B.C. and McGill University. Kent obtained his CA designation while working for KPMG in Toronto and moved back to Campbell River in 1997. He became a partner in Moeller & Company in 1998 and has thoroughly enjoyed his professional career in Campbell River.
Kent has been a Rotarian since 1998, has been on the Boards of Greenways Land Trust, Rotary, Rivercorp, Campbell River Hospital Foundation and is currently on the Board of the Campbell River Salmon Foundation.
